Life Skills:     Full Year     No Prerequisite      tech credits

Life Skills are very important skills we learn, most of us by trial and error, that help us be better employees, better relationship partners and better human beings.

 

This class will cover a lot of information that will be useful to you as you grow into adulthood. It will also help you discover more about yourself, how you communicate and how you can go about achieving your goals.

  • How to fill out and file important documents (taxes, working papers, college applications, etc.)

  • Making a budget and ways to stick to it

  • Ways to handle debt

  • Saving money

  • Organizing a schedule, time management

  • Stages of pregnancy

  • Cognitive, Physical and Language development of children birth to 5 years

  • Caring for and raising children

  • Education of children birth to 5 years

  • Developing lesson plans for children 3-5 years old

  • Healthy interaction with children
