Tech Weekend!

Here is the low down for the weekend and the days to follow leading up to the best production of Our Town the world has ever seen!!

Saturday 10/21

9am Crew comes in to build the stage

1pm crew finished

(Please pack a lunch or snack)

2pm All cast called

(crew is not required to stay for this first tech, but are more then welcome)

2-5 run show start and stop for spacing and entrances on stage.

5-6 dinner break.

I am going to get pizza for everyone. Please bring a snack or beverage to share with the group. comment on remind with what you are bringing. So we don't end up with 18 bags of chips and 1 soda. that way to I know you read this blog.

6pm-9pm Run show fix trouble spots

Remember this is our first off book day.

Do not worry about hair or make-up for this rehearsal

Sunday 10/22

10am-6pm

10am arrive. We will be doing costume hand outs and fittings. Please bring:

Men: Dress pants (brown, tan, black, gray)

Dress shoes and dark socks

white or tan dress shirt

suit if you have

Women: stockings

flat shoes (ballet slip ons or boots)

12pm need to be in full hair makeup up and costume for top of show

(the photographer may be here at this point so I want to be ready)

12:30pm Run show with mics and in costume with all changes

2pm Linner break (provided by the Performing arts guild)

3:30 back into costume and mics and run show from where we left off

Once our run and notes are complete we may run trouble spots but if there are no problems I will dismiss you sooooo... if we hold to this schedule and are acting responsibly and paying attention we can be finished before 6pm.

So I urge all of you to look over your lines. When you are not acting on stage to be going over lines and blocking with fellow cast mates.

Make sure to pack a water bottle and stay hydrated and rested over this next week. We are in great shape so far and I would love to keep our ball rolling.

Another note!!!!

We will be walking in the Halloween parade in costume. The Lions Club whom run the parade have personally invited us to walk and advertise our show and I think we need to honor that. I will have more details soon but If you are not in marching band or already participating in the parade with your family I am asking you to walk with us. Charlie will be in a Our Town style costume and rocking in her wagon. The parade is Monday 10/30 the week of are show so this will be a great promotion for us.

Another note: We have teamed up with the Haddon Township Historical Society and will have old photos and artifacts on display in the lobby during our show. Super cool! And a really fun way to bring all the elements of the show and out town to life.
